I chose this paper because I believe it was my best work as far as essays throughout the year. This essay was about looking at different types of learning techniques in higher education. My stance favored growth mindset students over fixed mindset students. Mainly because having a growth mindset allows one to be able to grow as a student and as a person. Having a fixed mindset would mean that one is hard headed and does not want to better themselves. Also this essay involved talking about trigger warnings and if they should or should not be used in class. A trigger warning is used when a sensitive topic would be discussed in class, so it would be made aware to students in order for them to feel comfortable in class.
