As the year started, we were told about 3 essays we were going to be tasked with writing. As well as peer reviewing we would have to do on the essays. We were placed in peer review groups, ones that we kept throughout the whole year. Which I think was the best way of going about peer review, we were able to stay with the same people, which helped us learn their style of writing and vice versa for them. I feel as though I have grown on certain things within my writing through peer review and I know there are certain things I am still struggling with. The things I feel I have grown on would probably be explaining all my evidence and quotes as well as making sure the reader understands my point of view or thesis to the prompt. The thing I felt I still have trouble with when writing is my lay out, I tend to organize my writing by author rather than by ideas and concepts. In my opinion, I feel like that is something I can easily overcome and get past to make sure my writing is organized by ideas. Both of my peer review partner, along with Cripps, pointed this out to me when reviewing my paper.
